We have been learning about 3D shapes. It is important to recognsise the difference between a 2D shape and 3D shape. 2D shapes are flat and 3D shapes are solid. We have been looking at:

cylinder
cone
sphere
rectangular prisms
triangular prisms
square – based pyramid
triangular based pyramid

The children are trying hard to recogise the differences between a prism and pyramid and how to identify if the shape is a pyramid or prism.
